TONY Abbott tolerates no ill will for his 18-year-old daughter's explanation of him as a "lame, gay, churchy loser".
Mr Abbott told an spectators at the launch of an anti-drugs program in Sydney this month that his daughter made the remark in a discussion on the dangers of drug use in reaction to "what I thought was a worthy moral exhortation".
On the ABC's Q and A program tonight, the opposition families spokesman smiled when he was asked by a spectator why he thought his daughter described him that way.
"Yeah, well look. She knows me well. She's lived with me for 18 years," he said.
