Taylor Swift Tops Billboard’s Highest Paid Musicians With $73.5 Million — Who Else Is On It?

Taylor Swift can’t be stopped! The musician topped Billboard’s Top Money Maker’s List of 2015. Taylor made a cool $73.5 Million in 2015. That’s so much money that the second place spot, Kenny Chesney, is still $33 Million behind her. Ah-Mazing!

Cha-Ching! Say what you want about Taylor Swift, 26, but she will be laughing all the way to the bank! The “Wildest Dreams” singer just topped Billboard’s Top Money Makers of 2015 list. The star brought in $73.5 Million in 2015, making herself the highest paid musician. Other stars joining Taylor on that list include, Billy Joel, 66, One Direction, and of course, Adele, 28 who were all in the top 9. Find out the rest of the list here!

At this point, everyone in the world knows that Taylor Swift is a total boss, but we just didn’t know how much of a boss! Taylor made a pretty penny in 2015 from her 1989 world tour, which brought in $61.7 Million alone, according to Billboard. Combined with the money she made from regular sales, streaming, and publishing, we are looking at a whole lot of cash for the blonde bombshell.

Joining Taylor in the top 9 were stars like The Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Luke Bryan, 39,  and U2. She led the pack and beat out bands and musicians who have been performing for decades — for decades, people! Adele also made the list, garnering the number 9 spot, which is fairly surprising considering most musicians make the majority of their money touring, and she brought in $0 tour dollars in 2015. Her total revenue for the year was $20.5 Million, and the majority of her earnings came from her album sales, which totaled $16.3 Million. So she’s doing okay for herself.

A little farther down on the list Maroon 5 earned the number 10 spot with $19.2 Million. Also making the list were fellow performers Britney Spears, 34, Drake, 29, Nicki Minaj, 33 ,and Ariana Grande, 22, who all earned a spot in the top 50! It was a very lucrative year for a lot of stars!

It’s been a fairly productive couple of years for Taylor to say the least. I wonder what she’ll do with all of that money? No doubt buy some more red lipstick as per usual, and she deserves it. You go, girl!
